Employee of the Month: Eddie Cahill
November
18, 2000
TV's Boy Toy du jour, Eddie Cahill, is making Friends
and influencing casting directors. He's played
Carrie's bisexual beau on Sex and the City
and is currently jugling roles as Rachel's hunky
assitant on Friends and, starting
November 29, Molly's troubled boyfriend on Felicity.
"It's all happened so quickly,"
syas 22-year-old Eddie Cahill, who had
acted in only two New York theater productions
before landing the Sex role last summer. "I'm
playing opposite beautiful women constantly; I think I can
retire."
That's
unlikely, considering that his five-episode Friends stint
as the object of Rachel's affection, Tag Jones ("It's a porn name, that's my take
onit," Cahill says), may be expanded. Cahill
insists that he's much more down to earth than
any of these characters. "I'm a real
homebody. I like to cook and spend time with my
friends and family. I even clean sometimes."
Hmm, maybe he's be a better match for Monica. Anabel
